CATD: 85% of producers are ready for the third stage of labeling of dairy products
Most producers of dairy products with a short shelf life - up to 40 days - have joined the Honest mark system. Mandatory labeling for these goods will begin in Russia since December 1, reported the press service of the Center for Advanced Technologies Development(CATD), which acts as the operator of the labeling system.

DairyIndex DIA reached 30.66 rub/kg
On November 1, 2021 Dairy Index DIA amounted to 30.35 rubles (about 0.37 euro)/kg (excluding VAT, fat and protein content 3.6% and 3.0% respectively), which 1% higher than last week and 8.2% higher than in early November 2020.
The key factor in the growth of the index was the increase in the import price due to the increase in prices for butter and whole milk powder at the BUCE auction, at the same time the weighted average price of raw milk in Russia, according to the Index DIA application, began to grow again. The index set a new record, exceeding the peak of last week, 30.35 rubles/kg.
The price of importing dairy products to Russia has broken a new record
The import price of exchange-traded dairy products to Russia reached 38.78 rubles/kg, 2.4% higher than last week and 11.9% higher than at the beginning of November 2020. This is a new record indicator this year.
