DairyTech 2020 preview: presenting the full dairy industry cycle

We take a look at what’s in store for the newly rebranded 2020 edition of DairyTech.

As Russia’s only international exhibition presenting the full range of equipment for milk processing and dairy production, DairyTech is a firm fixture in the calendar for senior managers, technologists and engineers from leading businesses involved in milk processing and dairy production.

This year, over 210 leading manufacturers and distributors from 12 countries will take part, 60 of whom are new to the show. Leading market players will present major stands: SIG Combibloc, AVE, Elopak, Galdi, GEA, IMA, Kieselmann, Profitex, Tauras-Fenix, ULMA Packaging and many more.

The show will cover over 10,000m2 of equipment for producing dairy products and cheeses, lines for filling and packaging dairy products, as well as components and materials for the dairy industry.

Exhibiting offers manufacturers and suppliers the opportunity to present their latest products to a highly-targeted professional audience, as well as get feedback on their relevance and competitiveness through direct contact with technologists, engineers and distributors.

The exhibition’s sectors include:

• Equipment and technologies for primary processing of milk: milking and cooling equipment, washing, disinfecting equipment and tools, equipment and technologies for determining quality, automation of the production process and more

• Equipment and technologies for producing dairy products: whole-dairy products, cheeses, butter, dairy concentrates, ice cream, ingredients and starter cultures

• Packaging, filling and bottling equipment: for purification and preparation of water, bottling and corking, blowing, pasteurisation and sterilisation, packaging, packaging and batching, as well as finished packaging, containers, equipment for marking and labelling, weighing equipment and more

The products on show:

SIG Combibloc, the show’s General Sponsor, has prepared samples of innovative packaging such as SIGNIA, ECOPLUS and SIGNATURE for the exhibition, which have already won prestigious industry awards. SIG Combibloc will also present the combiblocMidi/combifitMidi, combidome and combiSmile cartons.

SIG Combibloc will also present its most popular packaging solutions: litre cartons designed for prolonged, family consumption, and small, portioned units, most widely used for cream, concentrated milk, sauces, milkshakes, etc.

Galdi will present high-tech bottling equipment for fresh dairy products, juices, wine, egg melange, liquid and bulk food products. Visitors can find automatic filling machines of a wide range of capacities and configurations, as well as the patented Ultra Clean System disinfection system.

Tauras-Fenix will present their high-speed filling and packaging equipment for rinsing, bottling and corking, a machine for filling food and non-food products in finished plastic containers and then capping, as well as a machine for packaging long-life products using MAR technology.

TECNAL SAS (France), a world specialist in milk production (pasteurising, skimming, ripening, filtration) and cheese technologies (soft cheese, cream cheese, blue cheese and feta cheese) will join DairyTech for the first time, alongside Italian newcomer Facchinetti, presenting its cheese-making equipment.

Primodan A/S, the Danish manufacturer of automatic filling and capping machines, will showcase its latest products and established equipment in the Packaging, Filling and Filling Equipment sector.

ULMA Packaging, a leading global manufacturer of packaging systems and equipment with a 50-year history, will introduce a high-speed horizontal machine for packaging in a modified gas environment at speeds up to 250ppm – an ideal solution for high-performance portioned cheese packaging.

DairyTech 2020’s rich event programme includes over 10 industry conferences, masterclasses, and roundtables.

The three-day programme offers exciting sessions on global trends, growth points, new products and technologies in the dairy industry, and experience in the Mercury system and the use of digital marking.
