DairyTech 2020: a new focus on opportunities for the dairy industry


In 2020, DairyTech | Dairy & Meat Industry will focus on technologies for producing milk and dairy products.

In response to detailed analysis of Dairy & Meat Industry 2019, the exhibition will take a new course in 2020, rebranded as DairyTech and focussing on equipment and technologies that help manufacturers ensure high rates and quality of milk and dairy products, from primary processing to finished packaging.

Today, the milk and dairy products market is growing, according to Artem Belov, Director of the National Union of Milk Producers. One of the main trends is an increase in milk consumption and a rising demand for raw milk. Experts predict an increase in production of 6-700,000 tonnes per year. Milk exports from Russia are also expected to increase by about 3-5%, mainly to the CIS.

Global market conditions, a weak rouble and sanctions have provided profitability for the industry, but these factors are waning. Experts stress that the industry must modernise, invest in cutting-edge technologies and genetics to ensure competitiveness on the Russian market.

Russia’s leading trade show is therefore shifting its focus to offer the full technological cycle of industrial milk processing, from primary processing of raw materials to producing finished products. Manufacturers will showcase their equipment to those involved in milk processing and dairy production with a view to selecting and purchasing a wide range of equipment.

The show is segmented into product categories showcasing innovative products and offers from manufacturers and suppliers – over 210 leading manufacturers and suppliers from 12 countries.
 
  • Equipment and technologies for primary processing of milk: milking and cooling equipment, washing, disinfecting equipment and tools, equipment and technologies for quality control, automation of the production process and more
  • Equipment and technologies for the production of dairy products: whole-dairy products, cheeses, butter, dairy concentrates, ice cream, ingredients and starter cultures
  • Packaging, filling and bottling equipment: for water purification and preparation, bottling and corking, blowing, pasteurisation and sterilisation, packaging and batching, finished packaging, containers, equipment for marking and labelling, weighing equipment and more

Supported by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Rosselkhoznadzor and the National Union of Milk Producers, DairyTech has cemented its place over the years as a key business platform, bringing together the entire industry to make new contacts and sign new deals.
