Bottland, Three-Day Forum, and Quality Lab to Make Their Debut at the exhibition

On 19 – 22 February 2019, the 17th International Exhibition Dairy & Meat Industry will be held in Pavilion 2, Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow. Dairy & Meat Industry is a major business event featuring equipment and technologies for dairy production and demonstrating the most recent innovations in this field. The exhibition will also present milking and other livestock farming equipment.

In 2019, Dairy & Meat will feature the debut of a stand-alone project — specialised section of equipment, raw materials, and technologies for beverage production and bottling (Bottland).

Dairy & Meat Industry 2018 is traditionally supported by government authorities, dairy and meat industry associations, and research community. Dairy & Meat is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and is among Russia’s largest exhibitions according to the Russian National Exhibition Rating.

This year, 240 companies will take part in Dairy & Meat, including 38 companies that will make a debut at the exhibition with their equipment and products. The total display area is around 10,000 square metres. The exhibition is growing consistently and its exhibits (products and technologies) enjoy high popularity with the visitors. Major exhibitors: Almer, Bekar, DeLaval, GEA, Tauras-Fenix, Tetra Pak, Sfoggiatech, Trepko, Profitex, Kieselmann. The exhibition helps to address such complex tasks as supplying, equipping, and upgrading dairy factories, farms, farmers’ cooperatives, processing enterprises, agricultural holdings, and beverage factories.

The exhibitors will demonstrate their recent innovations and tell about their peculiarities at their stands. Many items of equipment will be shown in action.

Thus, Prom-Upak will present three basic types of Brik Aseptic package to professionals.

PROFITEX will demonstrate the most popular machinery modifications for filling products in plastics cups, film, pure-pack bags, and PET bottles.

Clever Machines will show state-of-the-art separation, pasteurisation, homogenisation, cheese-making, and membrane filtering technologies, while the leading global equipment manufacturer GEA will present its homogeniser portfolio.

Ulma Packaging will demonstrate FM 405 high-speed horizontal machine with a capacity of 250 units per minute.

For the first time under Bottland section, Japan’s Shikoku Kakoki Co ltd., a leading global manufacturer of food equipment for beverage bottling, will announce its new equipment in the market of fluid food aseptic bottling — SK-MA80 dosing line. The company engineers will provide the visitors with advice on any engineering issues and company’s solutions at the stand. Apart from the bottling lines, the company will offer integrated engineering solutions for production equipment supplies, automation, production processes, and design to the Russian market.

The partner of the section “Equipment and Technologies for Milk and Dairy Production” is Almer (Bulgaria).

Business Programme

The exposition will be accompanied by three-day Forum “Dairy Industry and Beverages”.

The programme is intended for a wide range of dairy industry professionals: managers and executives, quality and process specialists, engineers, and marketing and HR professionals.

The regular of the exhibition — GEA — will act as the General Partner of the conference “New Equipment and Technologies for Dairy and Beverage Industry”.

The key topics of the Forum concern both strategic and laboratory and engineering issues:

  • priority for exports,
  • global and local trends of the dairy industry,
  • innovations and effective solutions in milk and beverage processing
    and bottling for varied-capacity facilities,
  • peculiarities of membrane technology application,
